Big News from Gujarat Vidyapith
So, guess what? Gujarat Vidyapith just announced that they’re opening up admissions for undergrad, postgrad, and PhD programs for the academic year 2026-27. They’ve got a total of 1,246 seats up for grabs! That’s a lot—right?
Program Details
And here’s how it breaks down: they’ve got 8 undergrad courses with around 270 seats available. Then there are 3 postgraduate courses (200 seats), plus a whopping 20 diploma programs which add up to about 690 seats. There’s also one postgraduate diploma with only 20 spots and PhDs in 16 different subjects offering another 66 seats.
How to Apply?
The application process opens on March 22 and runs until May 8, so mark your calendars! You can get admitted based on your Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score or by taking their own GEETA exam. And if you’re wondering when that GEETA test is happening—it’s on May 10 across like, 28 centers in Gujarat (but they’ll announce spots for out-of-state candidates later).
The Exam
The GEETA exam’s gonna have you tackling about 60 questions over the course of just like—90 minutes? It’ll cover general knowledge stuff along with language and reasoning skills—oh, and questions based on Mahatma Gandhi’s autobiography. Total wild card!
Next Steps
Results will drop on May 10 too, right after the exam. For non-PhD courses, counseling goes down on May 12 and May 13—and then PhD hopefuls gotta do group discussions and interviews on May14.
