The much-awaited ‘Border 2’ trailer was unveiled at an exclusive private screening, delivering everything fans expect from a grand war spectacle—high-octane action, intense emotions, patriotism, and whistle-worthy dialogues. The trailer offers a powerful glimpse into a large-scale war drama designed to ignite big-screen excitement.
Trio of military heroes
The film brings together three officers from different wings of the Indian armed forces, played by Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. Varun leads the ground combat, taking the enemy head-on with raw intensity. Diljit commands the skies through adrenaline-packed air combat sequences, while Ahan handles naval operations, completing a full-spectrum portrayal of modern warfare.
Sunny Deol’s commanding presence
Towering over the narrative, Sunny Deol dominates the trailer as the battalion leader, exuding authority, grit, and old-school power. His thunderous delivery, including the roaring “Hai jurrattt…”, instantly evokes memories of iconic patriotic moments like “How’s the Josh?”. One particularly sharp line comparing Pakistan’s population to India’s goat count is clearly crafted for mass appeal and guaranteed to draw loud cheers in theatres.
Varun Dhawan impresses with a convincing accent and grounded performance, while Diljit Dosanjh’s air combat scenes stand out with enhanced VFX quality. The ground battle sequences feel gritty and impactful, but it is Sunny who anchors the trailer with his fiery screen presence and punch-packed dialogues.
The trailer culminates with a fierce warning to the Pakistani army:
“Tum hume kya haraoge. Arey tumhare Pakistan mein itne log nahi. Jitna hamare yaha Eid pe bakre kate jaate hai.”
Technical finesse on display
On the technical front, the film looks polished. The VFX are sharp, sound design packs a punch, and the cinematography amplifies the epic scale of the story. While the younger trio brings freshness, Sunny Deol unmistakably owns the screen, channeling the roaring intensity that defined his legendary roles in Border, Gadar, and Gadar 2.
