Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has stepped into the real estate sector with plans for a premium mixed-use development in Gujarat’s GIFT City. The project will be developed in partnership with Mumbai-based Sri Lotus Developers & Realty Limited.
The collaboration was formalised through a joint development agreement announced on January 7. The proposed project will feature luxury residential apartments, commercial offices, and retail spaces, with a total built-up area of over one million square feet.
Reports indicate that the land earmarked for the development was acquired by Bachchan nearly 15 years ago and is now being utilised for this flagship venture.
Although the total investment amount has not been revealed, the developer stated that the project follows an asset-light model, aimed at enhancing capital efficiency while expanding operations in GIFT City’s rapidly growing real estate market.
The development is expected to attract senior professionals, global investors, and high-net-worth individuals.
