Volunteers from GLS University’s Faculty of Commerce (GLS-FOC) spread New Year cheer at Prakash Andh Kanya Shala under their in-house initiative, PRAYAS – Charity with Smile.
Faculty members and students spent time with girls with visual impairments through songs, games, and gift distribution, including imitation jewellery and accessories for cultural programmes. The visit also included a tour of the campus, where volunteers learned about life-skills training such as chikki-making and Braille education, highlighting the role of vocational training in empowering the girls.
