Gujarat has become the first state in India to establish the Indian AI Research Organisation (IAIRO) in GIFT City under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
The centre will focus on artificial intelligence research, new AI-based technologies, skill development and policy research. It will work with the state government, central government, industry, startups and academic institutions.
The initiative aims to strengthen India’s AI ecosystem and position Gujarat as a major hub for future technologies.
