The “Gujarat Polo Club Horse Parade” organized by the ‘ Gujarat Polo Club Foundation ‘ on Sindhubhavan Road today created a unique scene of royal splendor and gaiety in the heart of Ahmedabad. The parade was inaugurated by hoisting the flag in the presence of distinguished guests and members of the Gujarat Polo Club ( GPC) .
The parade is becoming the official curtain-raiser of the upcoming ‘ Ahmedabad Polo Tournament ‘ , which will be held at the Gujarat Polo Club Ground, Shela from January 2 to 4 , 2026. The tournament will try to bring together the unique complementary elements of sports , heritage and splendor in Gujarat.
This parade of polo, known as the “King of Games”, saw an exciting glimpse of vintage cars , luxury supercars , superbikes and sports bikes along with more than 30 magnificent polo horses. The presence of double-decker DJ buses , light shows and riders dressed in political attire added to the festive atmosphere in the city.
The Ahmedabad Polo Tournament, organised in collaboration with the Adani Group, aims to revive the game of polo in Gujarat and establish it as a prestigious annual sports festival in Western India, which combines heritage , culture and sports.
