The Department of Public Policy & Governance (DPPG) at Gujarat University recently organised a seminar aimed at promoting human rights awareness.
Sponsored by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), the seminar was led by Dr Nilam Panchal, Head of DPPG. NHRC Secretary-General Bharat Lal addressed participants online, underscoring the importance of the initiative.
Hon’ble Justice Dr KJ Thaker, Chairperson of the Gujarat State Human Rights Commission, attended the event along with Gujarat University Vice-Chancellor Dr Neerja Gupta, BK School Director Dr Prateek Kanchan, University School of Law Head (I/C) Dr Bhavesh Bharad, and Dr Dilip Charan from the Department of Philosophy.
The seminar saw enthusiastic participation from scholars and dignitaries across various universities.
