Just hours before the India–South Africa T20I in Cuttack, former cricketer R. Ashwin left fans puzzled with a mysterious post on X featuring actress Sunny Leone.
Ashwin shared a collage of two images — one of Sunny Leone and the other of a narrow lane — sparking a flood of confused and humorous reactions online.
Ashwin, known for his active presence on social media and respected cricket insights, often responds to fans and shares his views through detailed posts and podcasts.
Many fans believe his tweet is actually a clever hint about Tamil Nadu all-rounder Sunny Sandhu, as “Sandhu” in Tamil means a small lane — matching the images in the collage.
Sandhu recently impressed in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy with a blazing 30 off nine balls, raising speculation about whether Ashwin was teasing the possibility of him joining Chennai Super Kings at the IPL mini-auction on December 16 in Abu Dhabi, where 350 players will go under the hammer.
Tamil Nadu currently stand fourth in Elite Group D, with Jharkhand and Rajasthan already qualifying.
