Ahmedabad is gearing up for its much-awaited Kankaria Carnival, the city’s grand week-long cultural celebration held every December. As part of the preparations, artists have begun beautifying the area around Kankaria Lake, adding vibrant colours and intricate designs to the surrounding walls.
The fresh artwork has already started drawing attention from visitors and locals, setting the festive tone ahead of the carnival. The event, known for its cultural performances, food stalls, exhibitions and entertainment activities, attracts thousands of people every year.
