The state government has opened online registration for CET-2026 for residential schools. Students can apply between December 2 and December 15. The exam is scheduled for January 1, 2026, for admissions in the 2026–27 academic year.
CET is conducted for admission to Gyanshakti Residential Schools, Gyanshakti Tribal Residential Schools, Rakshashakti (Class 1), EMRS and Sainik Schools (Class 6), and for the Chief Minister’s Gyan Setu Merit Scholarship (Class 5).
The State Examination Board issued the CET notification on December 1. Students from government, aided, and private schools can fill the form online. The exam is free of cost.
