Ahmedabad will soon get a modern 18-storey Multimodal Transport Hub at Akhbarnagar, integrating AMTS, BRTS and GSRTC bus operations at a single location. The project, to be developed on a 5,564 sq. m plot under the Public–Private Partnership (PPP) model, aims to streamline bus movement and improve commuter convenience.As per the proposal, retail spaces will be developed on the ground, first and second floors, while the third floor will include a banquet hall, auditorium, restaurant, gaming zone and other public facilities. The structure will also feature a solar rooftop to promote clean energy.The Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) has invited bids from developers, with architectural designs prepared by Jag Designer Pvt Ltd.
