Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (PV) will gift each member of the Indian women’s cricket team the upcoming Tata Sierra SUV to celebrate their historic ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 victory — the team’s first-ever World Cup title across all formats.
In a post on X, Tata Motors said, “Celebrating the Indian Women’s Cricket Team and their legendary ICC Women’s World Cup performance, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles proudly presents each member of the team with the Tata Sierra — a bold, versatile, and timeless legend.”
The new Tata Sierra is set to officially launch on November 25, 2025, marking the comeback of the iconic SUV nameplate in Tata’s lineup.
India clinched the World Cup title by defeating South Africa by 52 runs in the final at DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai, under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur.
Key performers included Shafali Verma (87 runs and crucial wickets) and Deepti Sharma, who took 5 wickets for 39 runs and was named Player of the Tournament.
The BCCI also announced a ₹51 crore cash reward for the team’s remarkable achievement.
The new Tata Sierra will feature a modern design with connected LED light bars, dual-tone alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, six airbags, a Harman sound system, and digital interfaces. It will be offered in both ICE and electric variants, blending the SUV’s legacy with contemporary innovation.
