The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the 21st Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted on February 8, 2026, in 132 cities across India. The application process is yet to begin.
The exam will consist of two papers — Paper 1 for teaching classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for classes 6 to 8. It will be conducted in 20 languages, including Gujarati. Typically held twice a year in July and December, this year’s CTET has been scheduled for February.
