State-run telecom giant Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has unveiled a festive “Diwali Bonanza” plan, offering new users a full month of 4G service for just ₹1.
The special offer, valid from October 15 to November 15, 2025, includes unlimited voice calls, 2 GB high-speed data per day, 100 SMS daily, and a free SIM card upon KYC completion.
Targeted at new subscribers, the ₹1 plan aims to boost customer acquisition as BSNL continues to expand its 4G footprint across India. After the first month, users can switch to any regular paid plan to continue the service.
BSNL has also introduced several festive offers alongside the ₹1 plan:
- ₹1,812 annual plan for senior citizens, offering 2 GB daily data, unlimited calls, and six months of free BiTV Premium.
- A “Gift a Recharge” scheme that allows users to send prepaid top-ups to loved ones with a 2.5% discount.
- Corporate bundles for businesses opting for multiple postpaid or FTTH connections.
BSNL CMD A. Robert J. Ravi said the company expects a surge in new connections, adding, “We’re confident that customers will experience our upgraded 4G quality and stay with BSNL.”
With Diwali celebrations underway, the ₹1 plan is expected to draw large crowds to BSNL stores. The offer remains open only until November 15, 2025, and is available exclusively at authorised BSNL centres.
