This year, the post-garba food rush is spreading beyond Manek Chowk. According to industry buzz, nearly 60% of eateries are launching special Navratri menus, attracting crowds not just from the city but also from Gandhinagar.

Many outlets are also setting up stalls at garba party plots, serving everything from pizzas, puffs, and momos to dhokla, handvo, and vada pav.

For revellers like Vastrapur resident Asmita Patel, food is as much a part of Navratri as garba. “After an energetic dandiya session, my friends and I often head to places like Manek Chowk or Frizbee for chai, dosas, sandwiches, jamun shots, and kulfi,” she said.
