Alleging that the contract-based employment system is ruining the lives of families and diminishing the efficiency of youth, the Samvidhan Bachao Samiti and Jan Arpan Group submitted a petition to the Vadodara District Collector on Monday.
The groups argued that while the government speaks of development, contractual employment denies youth stability, security, and fair opportunities. Calling it “sheer injustice,” they demanded an end to the system and the provision of permanent jobs.
To intensify their protest, a public program will be held this evening at the new Collectorate office in Diwalipura, where a large number of youth are expected to gather. The organizers, led by Kanchan Parmar, urged young people to join the movement, stressing that only permanent employment can safeguard workers’ rights, secure families’ futures, and ensure genuine development of the state.
