Gujarat University will host a special convocation on Monday, where 13,000 students will receive degrees across seven faculties and 132 courses. This ceremony is mainly for students planning to study abroad whose results were announced later than others. The event will be held at GU’s senate hall in the presence of Vice Chancellor Neerja Gupta.
The university will also remain closed on Monday for the convocation and on Tuesday for PhD exams. According to a circular, only PhD candidates, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff will be allowed entry, while all other outsiders will be barred to maintain exam sanctity.
