The Psychology Department at St. Xavier’s College organized a two-day symposium and workshop attended by 300 UG and PG students.
Dr. Priti P. Desai, India’s first certified child life specialist and Associate Professor at East Carolina University, USA, was the chief guest. She spoke on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), focusing on the needs of vulnerable and hospitalised children. The session also featured a powerful documentary screening and an interactive Q\&A.
