A shocking case of administrative negligence has come to light in Limkheda, Dahod district, resembling the phrase “Andher Nagari, Chaupat Raja.”
A newly constructed two-lane road from Limkheda Market Yard to Chhopatpalli, Mota Maal, and Goriya has become a cause for concern as an electric pole stands right in the middle of the road near Mota Haathi Dhara village.
Despite completing the roadwork, the administration failed to remove the pole during construction. What’s more alarming is that no reflective lights or radium signs have been placed on the pole to alert motorists.
With vehicles passing at high speed, this oversight poses a serious risk of accidents. Locals are demanding immediate action to prevent any untoward incident.
