Ahmedabad’s Shastri Bridge, which connects Narol and Vishala, is currently undergoing major repair work. In a significant development, one side of the bridge has been reopened to the public after being closed for over 15 months.
The repair project, aimed at ensuring long-term structural stability and commuter safety, has progressed steadily, allowing partial resumption of traffic. Authorities confirmed that work on the remaining section of the bridge is ongoing and expected to be completed in the coming months.
Commuters have welcomed the partial reopening, which is expected to ease congestion and improve connectivity between key areas in the southern part of the city.
