The first round of admissions for MDS (Postgraduate Dental) courses in Gujarat for the 2025–26 academic year has concluded, leaving 69 seats unfilled. The admission process is being overseen by the Admission Committee for Professional Postgraduate Medical Educational Courses.
Out of 347 candidates on the merit list, 344 participated in the choice-filling round held from July 5 to 8. A total of 234 seats were available across government and self-financed dental colleges, of which 185 have been allotted. This includes 141 seats under the government quota, 22 under the management quota, and 22 under the in-service quota.
However, 69 seats remain vacant—40 under the government quota and 29 under the NRI quota.
Candidates who have been allotted seats must pay their tuition fees online by July 11, no later than 3:30 PM. They are also required to report to their respective colleges or help centres between July 9 and July 12, from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Meanwhile, admissions for the 15% All India Quota seats in medical, dental, ayurvedic, and homeopathy courses in Gujarat are also underway.
