As the monsoon rains lash Ahmedabad, the number of potholes. Areas such as Paldi, Naranpura, Navrangpura, Chandlodiya, and Ghatlodiya have reported over 1,600 potholes this season.
Although some potholes have been filled, heavy rains have washed away the repairs, exposing the work of the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC).

In the North-West zones of Ahmedabad — including Bodakdev, Thaltej, Ghatlodiya, and Chandlodiya — a total of 648 potholes have been reported.
According to a media report, meeting where the Municipal Commissioner instructed teams to take immediate action to fill potholes across the city.
Although repair work is underway, many potholes are not being filled properly, causing new ones to form in the same spots.
