In a second alarming incident within 24 hours, Gujarat Refinery English Medium School in Karadiya village, Vadodara, received a bomb threat via email on Tuesday morning, just a day after a similar threat was issued to Navrachana School.
According to a media report, school principal, the email chillingly stated: “A bomb has been planted in the school which can blast anytime.”
Students were immediately evacuated, and bomb squad and dog squad teams rushed to the scene to begin a thorough search operation.
On Monday, Navrachana Higher Secondary School in Vadodara’s Sama area had received a similar threat—the second such email to the school in just four months. The message led to an abrupt suspension of classes, and parents were called in to take their children home.
In both cases, police, bomb disposal teams, and senior officials were deployed to inspect the premises and ensure student safety. Investigations into the source of the emails are underway.
