At just 18 years old, Ahmedabad’s Bhavya Chirag Jha has made an impressive mark in the NEET UG 2025 exam, securing All India Rank 8 with an outstanding 99.9996379 percentile — and that too in his very first attempt. With his eyes set on AIIMS New Delhi, Bhavya is now one step closer to achieving the dream he’s been pursuing since Class 11.
Bhavya studied at AES AG – Higher Secondary School and balanced his regular school routine with focused preparation through coaching at Allen Institute. “There was just one solution â to manage time,” Bhavya says. After school, he would finish assignments, attend coaching, and then revise for 3â4 hours every evening.
Unlike many aspirants who opt for drop years or open schooling, Bhavya stayed grounded in the classroom environment and even found it refreshing. “Meeting peers and playing volleyball helped me unwind,” he shares.
Bhavya credits his success to a strong mindset, consistent discipline, and avoiding distractions. “I knew it was a long and difficult journey and I was mentally prepared from the start,” he reflects. To maintain focus, he stayed away from social media and regularly practised meditation.
His study plan revolved around structured revision and rigorous mock tests. “Giving mock tests was most important,” he says, noting that revisiting challenging topics multiple times was a key part of his approach. “Proper coaching and self-study are both crucial,” Bhavya asserts
Bhavya found motivation close to home—his elder brother, Sarvagya Jha, currently an intern at GMERS Medical College, Sola, Ahmedabad, played a key role in his journey. “He’s my biggest motivator. He gave me notes, helped me understand the roadblocks, and kept me going even when I didn’t do well in mocks,” Bhavya shares with gratitude.
His top priority is AIIMS New Delhi. “AIIMS stands out for its faculty and practical learning exposure. It’s every NEET aspirant’s dream,” he says, with JIPMER Puducherry as his second preference.
When asked if he missed out on fun, Bhavya is firm: “I never felt I was missing anything. I knew two years of hard work would put me in a better place than most.”
To fellow NEET aspirants, his advice is simple yet powerful: “Stay consistent and do hard work — results will follow.”
