Some areas in South Gujarat and Saurashtra may get light to moderate rain, but Ahmedabad is still facing very hot weather with the temperature reaching 40.7°C.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), rain is not expected in Ahmedabad before June 15. Until then, the temperature could rise even more, possibly up to 43°C.
Rain Expected in Some Areas Till June 15
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely in the following places:
Narmada, Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Rajkot, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Botad, and Diu.
Dry weather is likely in the remaining districts,” said IMD on Monday.
