Ahead of World Environment Day today, the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) and the city’s substantial cycling community organised a cycling rally as part of the Environment Conservation Week, which begins today and will continue till June 9. The rally was planned to spread awareness of environmental conservation, sustainability, cleaner air, and a healthier lifestyle. With as many as 75 participants led by Paralympian Geeta Rao, the cyclists also aimed to encourage the use of bicycles in our cities, making a case for a sustainable society.
