Following days of heightened tensions including drone sightings and alleged offensive activities from Pakistan after ‘Operation Sindoor’, life began returning to normal in Gujarat’s border districts of Kutch and Banaskantha on Sunday after a ceasefire was announced between India and Pakistan on Saturday.
While normalcy returned to civilian areas, the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force remain on high alert, keeping an eye on developments along the western frontier.
People in towns and rural areas of Kutch, especially in border areas like Lakhpat, Abdasa, and the Banni-Pachchham belt, resumed their daily activities. Highways and critical checkpoints remained under security surveillance, and in Bhuj, routine life resumed from early Sunday morning.
