India conducted an airstrike targeting Pakistan in response to the recent Pahalgam attack, marking a strong counteraction to the provocation.
Following the strike, the neighbouring country has also come under scrutiny from the United States. According to official White House sources, U.S. National Security Advisor and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have issued a warning to Pakistan.
US Foreign Minister Marco Rubio warned Pakistan, saying, Pakistan should not think of taking any action against India’s strike. Pakistan should not dare to wage war against India. Also, Rubio said about India, India had the right to take action against terrorists. Now Pakistan should plan not to launch any attack in response to this attack by India.

Along with this, while Pakistan is talking about responding to India, Marco Rubio spoke to the Pakistani NSA and asked him to remain calm. America warned Pakistan, don’t even think of responding to India’s strike.
Marco Rubio posted on his social media handle X after the attack, saying, I am closely monitoring the situation between India and Pakistan. In comments made earlier today, I hope this ends soon and will continue to engage both Indian and Pakistani leadership towards a peaceful resolution.

Pakistani terrorists attacked Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April. In this attack, the terrorists killed an unarmed tourist. Also, many women lost their lives in this attack and 26 people were killed. After this, India launched Operation Sindoor against Pakistan late on the night of 7 May. Doval Briefs U.S.; Trump Urges Calm Between India and Pakistan
Following the operation, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval briefed the U.S. Secretary of State on India’s actions. U.S. President Donald Trump also addressed the situation, expressing hope for a swift de-escalation. “India and Pakistan have been fighting for a long time. I just hope it ends very soon,” he said.
