Mother Dairy has announced a price hike of up to Rs 2 per litre on its milk variants, effective Wednesday, April 30, 2025. The revision comes in response to a sharp rise in procurement costs driven by early summer heat and prevailing heatwave conditions.
A company official on Tuesday confirmed that the decision was taken to partially offset the Rs 4-5 per litre increase in milk procurement rates witnessed over recent months. The revised prices will be applicable across all markets where Mother Dairy operates.
In the Delhi-NCR region, where the company supplies nearly 35 lakh litres of milk daily through its outlets, general stores, and e-commerce platforms, toned milk sold in bulk has been revised from Rs 54 to Rs 56 per litre. Toned milk in pouches will now cost Rs 57 per litre, up from Rs 56, while full cream milk will be priced at Rs 69 per litre, up from Rs 68. Double toned milk has seen a hike from Rs 49 to Rs 51 per litre, and cow milk will now be available at Rs 59 per litre, up from Rs 57.
