Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic residence, Mannat, in Mumbai’s Bandra has been a fan favorite for years. However, SRK and his family have now moved out as the property undergoes renovation. They have shifted to a nearby building called Puja Casa, located at Pali Hill, Bandra. The first visuals of their new temporary home have been circulating on social media, with fans recently spotting them entering the building.
Reports suggest that the new home is a combined, spacious duplex apartment spanning 10,500 square feet, which is half the size of Mannat’s 27,000 square feet. Shah Rukh Khan is paying a rent of ₹25.15 lakhs per month for the apartment, which he is reportedly leasing for two to three years. Social media has been buzzing with visuals of the new property, with fans already making plans to gather outside Puja Casa for King Khan’s birthday celebration this year.
A source revealed that the rented apartment is owned by producer Vashu Bhagnani’s children, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh. Red Chillies Entertainment has entered into a leave and license agreement for the space. The four-floor apartment will accommodate SRK and his family, along with their security and staff, and will also include office space.
Planned renovations at Mannat
Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic home, Mannat, is located on a peninsular strip of land known as Land’s End in Bandra, Mumbai, which extends into the Arabian Sea. Due to its proximity to the coastline, property owners in this area are required to obtain clearance from the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA), the state’s agency that regulates development in coastal zones. Shah Rukh plans to add two additional floors to the annexe of Mannat, which will increase the built-up area by 616.02 square meters and also raise the height of the property.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is set to appear alongside his daughter Suhana Khan in the upcoming film King, directed by Siddharth Anand.
