The Medical Centre of the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) organised a Tuberculosis (TB) Awareness Session at the institute where more than 150 housekeeping staff members were made aware of the disease and its prevention and treatment options. Conducted as part of the Government of India’s 100-day Intensified Campaign for TB Elimination and in alignment with the National Tuberculosis (TB) Eradication Program, the event started with an insightful session by Monika Shukla, District DR-TB, TB-HIV Coordinator at the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation, and concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session.
