Gujarat Class 9, 11 Exams 2025 Postponed to April 21

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has revised the exam schedule for the Class 9 and Class 11 annual exams for 2025. Originally set for April 12, the exams will now take place on April 21, 2025. The change was made to avoid a scheduling conflict with the Gyansadhana Merit Scholarship exam, also scheduled on April 12. Gujarat Class 9, 11 Exams 2025 Postponed: Official NoticeIn its notice, GSEB said the Gyansadhana Merit Scholarship Exam will take place in all districts on April 12, from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Because many students and centres are involved, the State Examination Board asked GSEB to shift the school exams to avoid problems.The official notice reads, “Subject-wise papers for the school-level examinations are to be prepared by the school development complex or by the schools themselves. Accordingly, all secondary and higher secondary schools in the state are to be informed to reschedule the class 9 and 11 annual examinations scheduled for 12/04/2025.”You may read the entire notification here.New Exam Date AnnouncedAccording to the 2024-25 academic calendar, Class 9 and 11 annual exams will be held between April 7 and April 19, 2025. But now, the exam planned for April 12 will be conducted earlier on April 2, 2025.
