The Department of Languages, Literature and Aesthetics at the School of Liberal Studies, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) hosted a two-day workshop on ‘The Poetics of Translation: Language, Culture, and Performance. Organised in collaboration with the National Translation Mission, Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore, the workshop had over 75 participants from PDEU and other national institutes, all of who engaged in conversations on the theory and praxis of translation, especially in the context of a multicultural nation like India with its linguistic pluralities. The workshop ended with a rendition of Dastangol performance titled Haman Hai Ishq Mastaana,
