Vadodara Police have booked the gang members of Nawabwada based Radium gang after violence between two groups of migrant Muslims in Machhipith area of city on the night of Shab-e-barat.
Those booked for vioelence that occured on 13th February night at around 11 pm are Asif alias Titli Salim Siekh, Shehzad alias Pipodi AnwarAhmed Sheikh, Sahil alias Sajid alias Dadhi Sheikh, Faruk alias Boti Rafik Sheikh, Muhammad Jafar Siya, Ayub IMran Pathan, Shahid and three to four unidentified persons. The rioters used pipes and cricket bat during group clash.
DCP Zone – 4 Panna Momaya told medis persons that three persons were seriously injured in this group clash. Police conducted combing in migrant Muslims dominated Machhipith area. Stone pelting, loot and attack on women are also reported in connection with this incident of crime.
