The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) plans to build new flyovers and overbridges at a total cost of Rs 322.78 crore. These infrastructure projects are intended to improve traffic flow and connectivity in major parts of the city.
One of the key projects involves the construction of a three-lane rail-way overbridge, which will be built parallel to the existing Chimanbhai Patel Overbridge, linking RTO Circle to the Sabarmati-Chandkheda area. Additionally, another way down will be constructed near Subhash Bridge to ease traffic congestion. A new flyover will also be built at the Panchvati Junction.
The construction is expected to be completed in three years.
