In a major development for government employees, the cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the formation of eighth central commission.
Making the announcement, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the commission will likely be formed by 2026.
He further reiterated that the recommendations of the seventh pay commission have already been implemented.
