Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are married. While they are yet to post official photos from the wedding, glimpses of the couple from the ceremony are finally out.
Dressed in a pancha (a kind of dhoti), Naga Chaitanya seemed immersed in the wedding rituals. Sobhita Dhulipala exuded elegance in a Kanjivaram silk saree with real gold zari, honouring her cultural root
The couple made their relationship official in August this year, by sharing photos from their engagement ceremony. “What could my mother be to yours? What kin is my father to yours anyway? And how did you and I meet ever? But in love our hearts are as red earth and pouring rain: mingled beyond parting,” wrote the couple in a joint post, while quoting a translated text from A K Ramanujan’s Kurunthogai
Chay, as he is popularly called, married Sobhita at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, a location steeped in his family’s legacy. Founded in 1976 by his grandfather, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, this iconic 22-acre property in Banjara Hills stands as a symbol of cinematic heritage and family pride. The couple’s wedding reportedly spanned an 8-hour ceremony, honouring timeless traditions and cultural rituals.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s wedding is a star-studded affair, with prominent actors, directors, and technicians from the Indian film industry in attendance. The guest list includes Allu Arjun and his family, Ram Charan and Upasana, Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, Jr NTR, SS Rajamouli, Prabhas, Chiranjeevi and Surekha, and Nayanthara, among others.
Being related through family ties, the Akkineni and Daggubati families will be present as well. Their connection dates back to Nagarjuna’s marriage to Lakshmi Daggubati, actor Venkatesh Daggubati’s sister, though the couple is now separated
