The Centre of Excellence Drone Technology, IITRAM Ahmedabad organiseda Short Term Training Program on the topic “Basics of Drone Design, Navigation and Regulations” from 18-22 Nov 2024. The Centre of Excellence (COE) – Drone Technology at IITRAM Ahmedabad wasset up to support cutting-edge research and education in the advancement and application of Unmanned Technology of Drones.
This training focused on introducing drone components, assembly and calibration with flight test. Fight-Simulator and related research areas were covered in this STTP.
The inaugural talk was delivered by Dr. Vijay Shankar Dwivedi,Research Fellow at Centre for Autonomous and Cyberphysical Systems, Cranfield University, UK.Other eminent speakers were Dr. R K Narang, Senior Fellow at MP-IDSA, Vayu Sena Medallist (Retd.),Former Indian Air Force Officer, Mr. Vikram Bansal Founder CEO Asatrobo Technologies Pvt Ltd, Prof. Abhishek Professor, Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIT Kanpur and Shri A. J Mathur Ex Dept. Director SAC ISRO and Visiting Prof. Centre for Space Science and Tech, IIT Roorkee.
