MATTER Group, an electric vehicle (EV) technology and energy storage leader, is set to open its maiden Experience Hub in Ahmedabad on 11th October 2024. This cutting-edge facility aims to showcase the future of electric mobility through a blend of technology, innovation, and design. The hub offers not only a retail experience but also a platform for enthusiasts to immerse themselves in advanced EV features. With interactive displays, test rides, and a “Phygital” zone combining physical and digital interactions, MATTER’s Experience Hub is designed to engage a new wave of customers, guiding them towards sustainable mobility solutions.
The centrepiece of the Experience Hub is MATTER’s flagship product, the AERA, India’s first geared electric motorbike. Equipped with a 5 KWh liquid-cooled battery and powertrain, AERA promises performance and longevity suitable for both urban and long-distance riders. MATTER’s innovative 5-amp onboard charging system further adds convenience by allowing users to charge the bike almost anywhere. As MATTER prepares to deliver the AERA during the festive season, the company’s foray into this space marks a significant milestone, especially given the growing demand for electric mobility in India. According to industry data, the Indian EV market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 44% between 2020 and 2027, positioning MATTER at the forefront of this transformation.
MATTER’s ambitious plans extend beyond the Ahmedabad Experience Hub. In the next eight months, the company aims to launch 100 hubs across 40 cities, partnering with dealers who share its vision of driving innovation and sustainability. Founder and CEO Mohal Lalbhai emphasises that this expansion is a critical step in MATTER’s mission to lead India toward a cleaner, greener future. With over 275 patent filings and accolades like the “Star Electric Bike of the Year,” MATTER is solidifying its position as a key player in the burgeoning EV market.
