Amdavad Municipal Corporation(AMC) has finalized the policy for visitors for AMC run hospitals like SVP, LG, Shardaben, Nagri, VS and AMC dental hospitals etc.
Only one relative will be allowed in OPDs of AMC run hospitals. In case of child patient or weak patient, only two relatives are to be allowed. In general ward, only one relative to be allowed.In emergency/casualty department maximum only two relatives are to be permitted to stay with patient in non OPD hours. In case of operation/labour room, maximum two patients to be allowed to enter the hospital. In all kinds of ICUs, only one relative inside and one outside ICU to be allowed. In case of delux/special/semi special rooms, maximum two relatives only shall be allowed with admitted patient.
Visiting hours in all AMC run hospitals will be 4 to 6 pm. A person can stay inside during visitors’ hours only for maximum 30 minutes. If more persons want to enter the hospital, they can take permission of medical superitendent or RMO.
Entry and exit points of hospitals and most of the areas of hospital shall be covered under CCTV surveillance. The relatives will require to have pass/id card so that they can be identified.
