The Ahmedabad Crime Branch arrested Akshit Lalitkumar Jamb, a resident of Goa who originally belongs to Delhi for threatening Bhupinder Madan, the owner of a start-up chain Theka Cafe. Madan lives in Bopal, Ahmedabad.
Somedays back Madan met Jamb during a visit to Goa. Later Jamb began to call up Madan to get a franchise of Theka Cafe which had come into limelight after the Season 2 of the show Shark Tank.
Jamb also used to ask Madan for money. When Madan did not give him the franchise or the money, Jamb began to threaten him by calling him from a fake international number using VoIP. PSI RL Odedra of City Crime Branch said they found that the calls were made from Goa. Later with the help of goa police Ahemedabad Crime branch team arrested jamn from goa.
