A 10-year-old Rajkot boy died due to heart attack. Purvang Dhamecha, a class 4 student, complained of diarrhoea and vomiting. His family took him to a nearby clinic and the doctor put him on medication after administering an injection.
Purvang had a vomit during dinner following which he collapsed and became unconscious. The family called 108 ambulance. When the medicos of 108 checked him, they declared him dead.
The body of Purvang was later taken for post-mortem which revealed heart attack as the cause of death.
Purvang lived with his parents on Rajkot’s Kothariya Main Road. His father Nemish Dhamecha is a daily wage labourer.
