A new health lounge has been established at Terminal 1 of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport by Asian Bariatric Plus Specialty Hospital (AB Plus).
The AB Plus Health Lounge offers a deatiled, non-invasive full-body health scan in just 10 minutes, making good use of passengers’ waiting time. The lounge focuses on predictive and preventive medicine and has successfully tested 1,200 patients over the past two months.
The lounge has advanced health services utilizing AI technology, such as Automated Eye Scans to identify early and late changes in chronic conditions like diabetes, cataracts, and hypertension. Additionally, passengers can undergo Body Composition Analysis, which evaluates body fat, muscle, and water content, providing a detailed segmental muscle analysis report beyond just BMI. Seven different types of tests are available at the lounge, each costing ₹500.
Dr. Mahendra Narwaria, a Bariatric, GI, and Robotic Surgeon with over 25 years of experience at AB Plus Hospital, commented, “We are dedicated to offering innovative healthcare solutions that integrate smoothly into our patients’ lives. The AB Plus Health Lounge provides travelers with the opportunity to prioritize their health, allowing for early detection of potential issues through quick, non-invasive tests. Our procedures are thorough yet entirely non-invasive, completed within 10 minutes, and offer convenient solutions for fliers.”
The lounge also includes cardiovascular screening for early heart-related issue detection and face skin analysis to assist with skincare and anti-aging decisions.
