Mumbai-based Lilavati Hospital inaugurated a healthcare facility in Ahmedabad as part of its expansion plans that include opening 50 clinics across India with an investment of around Rs1000 crore. The new venture, Lilavati Clinic & Wellness is spread over 8,000 square feet. Prashant Mehta, promoter of Lilavati Clinic & Wellness said since they belong to Gujarat they decided to launch their first clinic in Ahmedabad.
The new facility with an Outpatient Department (OPD) will be operational from 9 AM to 9 PM. The clinic will provide advanced diagnostic services such as Electrocardiogram (ECG), Echocardiogram (ECHO), Stress Test (TMT), Advanced X-ray, Ultrasound (USG), including daycare and minor procedures along with a dental department. Lilavati Hospital is also constructing a 350-bed multi-specialty hospital in GIFT City which is likely to be fully operational by next year in August.
