Fire broke out at Biotech Industries located in Kathwada GIDC in the eastern part of the city. The fire erupted in a warehouse containing magnesium used for manufacturing Kangan water machine refills. Upon receiving the alert, more than 18 fire tenders rushed to the scene and successfully brought the fire under control.
According to the fire brigade, they received a distress call at 4:30 am reporting a fire at Biotech Industries on Road No. 5 in Kathwada GIDC. Responding promptly, over 18 fire brigade vehicles rushed to the scene. The Chief Fire Officer, Additional Chief Fire Officer, and Divisional Fire Officer also reached the incident site, and the fire department managed to extinguish the blaze within two hours.
