The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for strong surface winds in Gujarat over the next four days. Winds are expected to reach speeds of 20-25 km/h until June 6. This is due to a cyclonic circulation over the Saurashtra region near the northeast Arabian Sea and another over southeast Rajasthan.
On Sunday, Surendranagar recorded the state’s highest temperature at 43°C, followed by Ahmedabad at 42°C and Gandhinagar at 41.5°C.
