Unseasonal rainfall is likely to occur in parts of Gujarat as a cyclonic circulation lies over the northeast Arabian Sea and adjoining Gujarat coast between 1.5 km and 5.8 km above mean sea level. The Indian Meteorological Department, in its latest forecast, predicts the possibility of rain during May 11th to May 13th.

While the rain is likely to occur three days later, the state is going to witness scorching hot and humid conditions. The IMD has also issued a heatwave warning for the next two days for Kutch district.
