The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) is going to hold the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GujCET) on March 31st, from 10 am to 4 pm. Around 1.37 lakh students have enlisted for the exam this year.
Out of the total candidates, with 1,19,494 applicants hailing from the Gujarat board, 15,558 candidates are from the CBSE, 18,305 from other state boards, and 12 are international students. 86,366 students have chosen Group B, 51,025 for Group A, and 408 for AB.
GujCET serves as the state’s standardized test for admission into engineering and pharmacy degree and diploma programs following the completion of Class 12. Students pursuing Class 12 science and opting for A, B, or AB groups are eligible to sit for the exam.
A total of 12,151 registrations have been done in Ahmedabad city whereas rural Ahmedabad has 18,401 students appearing for the paper. The exam will be held at 92 venues in Ahmedabad city and rural areas.
