The Ahmedabad Police issued notification on the traffic around the Motera Stadium during the IPL-2024 matches.
Vehicles will be prohibited on the stretch between Janpath T Junction and Stadium Main Gate as well as from Krupa Residency to the Stadium Main Gate. The polics have instead proposed an alternate route from Tapovan Circle, to ONGC Crossroads and from there to Visat T junction, to Janpath T Junction towards Powerhouse Crossroads and to Prabodh Rawal Circle.
The other alternate route is proposed from Krupa Residency to Sharan Status Crossroads and then to Koteshwar Road and Apollo Circle.
Metro offers special paper tickets for IPL
The Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) has made special arrangements for procurement of tickets during the upcoming IPL matches at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in the city. Special paper tickets have been introduced at a flat fare of Rs 50 on the match days of March 24, March 31, and April 4.
The special tickets will cover the return journey from the Motera Stadium Metro Station and Sabarmati Metro Station to any operational station of the Ahmedabad Metro on both lines.
These special paper tickets will be available in advance at the Motera Stadium Metro Station and Sabarmati Metro Station starting from 08:00 am onwards on the match days.
