Anyone who wants to visit Ahmedabad’s Kankariya lake can buy a ticket from the ticket counters at the seven gates of the lake. Now, the Amdavad Municipal Corporation has also introduced an online ticket service for visitors.
With the introduction of an online ticket system, visitors will not have to stand in queues to get tickets. Tickets can be purchased from the AMC website https://www.kankarialaketickets.com/ or from the Online Ticket Bookings section on the mobile application AMC Seva. The entry fees for the Lakefront are Rs. 5 for individuals below 12 years and Rs. 10 for those above 12 years.
AMC offers online tickets for visitors to Kankaria Lakefront, allowing them to make digital payments using methods such as Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Mobile Internet Banking, UPI, Wallet, etc. Visitors need to provide their mobile number, name, and email ID details to obtain tickets on the website and application. After selecting the ticket and making the payment, a QR code-enabled ticket will be generated, which will also be sent via SMS to the provided mobile number. This ticket must be presented at the entrance gate of Kankaria Lakefront Premises for admission.
Visitors interested in other attractions at Kankaria Lakefront, such as Kids City, Zoo, Balwatika, and Butterfly Park, need to purchase these tickets at an extra cost, and they are also available online and offline.
